If getting more involved in your community is on your 2026 resolution list, this is your moment. Mark your calendar for the Volunteer Expo on Wednesday, January 28, and discover meaningful ways to make an impact close to home.
Presented by the Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI) and powered by the Pfeifer Realty Group, the Volunteer Expo offers community members interested in contributing their talents the opportunity to connect with more than 50 Sanibel and Captiva nonprofit organizations and community groups. The Expo will take place from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Sanibel Community House.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees can explore volunteer opportunities during nonprofit tabling, and from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m., join the grants and awards presentation, during which $8,000 in grants will be distributed to local organizations.
