CFI to Host Fourth AI Training for Local Businesses, Nonprofits and Community Leaders

The Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI) will host its fourth AI training session on Friday, October 16, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS®, 2353 Periwinkle Way, Suite 201, Sanibel. The free workshop is designed for business owners, nonprofit professionals and community leaders who want to learn practical ways to use artificial intelligence in their everyday work.

This session will focus on marketing your business or organization using Claude, including ways AI can help save time, strengthen messaging and reach customers or supporters more effectively. Participants will also have the opportunity to sit down with FGCU students for hands-on assistance, making the training especially helpful for those who want one-on-one support as they learn.

The October 16 workshop marks the fourth training generously hosted by the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS®. Their continued support has provided a space for members of the broader island community to learn new skills and explore tools that can strengthen local businesses and organizations.

The training series was made possible through CFI’s Community Impact Fund, which helped bring the AIN Hub to the islands. CFI is also grateful to Brian Rist, FGCU professor and CFI board member, for making the connection that helped bring this resource to the community.

“We are so grateful to the REALTORS® Association for continuing to open its doors to the community for these trainings,” said Savannah Kelly, Director of Community Engagement at CFI. “This series has been about giving our local businesses, nonprofits and community leaders practical tools they can actually use, and the opportunity to work directly with FGCU students makes this next session especially valuable.”

The series is intended for anyone looking to use AI to grow a business, organization or personal brand, whether they are completely new to AI or already experimenting with it.
